Crane Consumables Expands Operations to Support Growth

MONROE, Ohio – Crane Consumables, a leading provider of high-quality labeling solutions, has announced the expansion of its operations. The company will be adding 20 new jobs, resulting in $1.1 million in additional payroll to its existing 66 positions. The expansion also includes adding 12,000 square feet for manufacturing operations, including new machinery and infrastructure improvements.

Crane Consumables serves a highly specialized market, working exclusively with resellers through established distribution channels. Its labeling solutions support a broad spectrum of industries, including automotive, chemical, manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceutical and food and beverage.

“This expansion allows us to remain in Monroe and draw on the talented workforce of the Cincinnati-Dayton region, said Robert Crane, vice president, Crane Consumables. “The support from the state of Ohio, JobsOhio, REDI Cincinnati and the City of Monroe shows their commitment to local businesses and ensures we can continue to grow here in the community.”

“As a second-generation, family-run company, Crane Consumables’ expansion is a strong example of how businesses in our region thrive, said Kevin Donnelly, REDI Cincinnati vice president of project management. “By finding the right workforce, adding new jobs and expanding its manufacturing capabilities, Crane is strengthening its operations but also reinforcing the Cincinnati region’s reputation as a hub for advanced manufacturing and innovation.”

“Crane Consumables has been a valued part of Monroe’s business community for years, and we’re proud to support their continued growth. This expansion strengthens our local economy through new jobs and investment and reinforces Monroe as a place where businesses can thrive and proudly call home.” – Mayor Keith Funk, City of Monroe

“Founded in Monroe nearly two decades ago, Crane Consumables has consistently advanced its production and labeling technology to meet market needs while maintaining its commitment to sustainability and the community,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “With this newest expansion, Crane Consumables is creating 20 new jobs and investing in cutting-edge equipment to support rising demand from its growing customer base nationwide.”

A family-run business since 2007, driven by sustained organic growth and customer referrals, the company is known for exceptional service, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to employee well-being and sustainability, recycling over 95% of its label waste and offering eco-friendly products.

JobsOhio plans to provide assistance for the project, which will be made public after a final agreement is executed.
