Enerfab Expands Its Regional Industrial Mechanical Business with a New Facility in Harrison Ohio with Support from REDI Cincinnati and JobsOhio

HARRISON, Ohio – June 24, 2024 — Enerfab, one of the largest privately held companies in Cincinnati, announced an expansion plan in the City of Harrison with support from JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati. The company plans to expand its regional industrial mechanical service offering over the next three years, adding 44 new jobs and an annualized payroll of $4.1 million.

Aaron Landolt, President and CEO of Enerfab, said, “We are very excited about this expansion and the support we have received from REDI Cincinnati and JobsOhio. The new Harrison facility represents a major investment behind our regional mechanical business that supports the rapid growth in pre-fabrication and modular construction across multiple industries.” Landolt added, “The facility will focus on pipe fabrication, pre-assembly of multi-trade utility racks, and process module assemblies to support customers in this region and major industrial projects across the United States. This team will also support the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the greater Ohio Valley Region.”

Enerfab is one of the nation’s leaders in providing fabrication, construction, and maintenance services to the heavy industrial, power, chemical, food & beverage, data center, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy markets. Founded in 1901, Enerfab is one of the largest privately held companies in Cincinnati and continues to experience tremendous growth, with more than $600 million in revenue in 2024. The company has over 800 local employees with 3,800 employees across the Midwest, Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, and Eastern regions within the U.S.

“Enerfab’s enduring legacy and expansion announcement is a testament to our region’s strong business climate for advanced manufacturing, currently contributing $30.4 billion in GRP, “said Kimm Lauterbach, REDI Cincinnati president and CEO. “These new jobs significantly and directly impact our region, providing good paying jobs, employment opportunities for local residents and stimulating overall economic growth.”

“Enerfab’s plans to expand their component manufacturing and modular assembly operations in Hamilton County reflects how advanced manufacturing from Ohio is enabling industrial and utility companies to meet new federal net zero carbon reduction regulations,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “Adding new jobs and investment at one of the region’s largest employers just shows the confidence and value Enerfab places in Ohio’s talented workforce and diverse economy.”

“We warmly welcome Enerfab to the City of Harrison,” said Mayor Ryan Grubbs. “Enerfab’s deep-rooted history in the region and commitment to Ohio make this expansion particularly meaningful. Their decision to grow here reflects the strong community values and economic vitality that make Harrison an ideal location for businesses. We look forward to the positive impact this expansion will have on our local economy and community.”
