JobsOhio Relocation Incentive
JobsOhio Relocation Incentive is centered around helping Ohio employers compete nationally for the skilled workforce they need to thrive. Companies can receive $15,000 for each qualifying new hire who moves to Ohio and starts work. The incentive complements JobsOhio’s existing talent portfolio, designed to support Ohio companies in attracting, developing, and retaining workforce needed to grow.

Is Your Business Eligible?
For the REDI Cincinnati region, the JobsOhio Relocation Incentive is only available to the five southwest Ohio counties: Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren. You must also do business as an Ohio-based employer in one JobsOhio’s targeted industries.
These industries include:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Additive Manufacturing
- Aerospace & Aviation
- Automotive
- Autonomous Mobility
- Energy & Chemicals
- Financial Services
- Insurtech
- Food & Agribusiness
- Healthcare
- Logistics & Distribution
- Military & Federal
- Technology
- Cybersecurity
Other eligibility requirements include:
- Hire full-time employees in STEM and technical occupation (1099 contractors do not qualify).
- Provide the number of relocated STEM and technical hires for three prior calendar years to establish an annual baseline relocation number.

- Simplicity: The incentive program is easy to understand. Companies provide a baseline for their current out-of-state recruitment efforts and receive funding as an additional, new, out-of-state employee is on payroll and establishes permanent Ohio residency.
