REDI Cincinnati Announces Three Local Companies Adding Jobs and Payroll Through JobsOhio Small Business Grant
CINCINNATI – August 23, 2023 – REDI Cincinnati, in coordination with JobsOhio, announces three local companies receiving JobsOhio Small Business Grant (formerly known as Jobs Ohio Inclusion Grant) to grow their existing businesses by adding jobs, increasing payroll and investment in capital.
“We are committed to supporting business growth, and JobsOhio Small Business Grant allows us to reach underrepresented populations,” said Kevin Donnelly, vice president of project management for REDI Cincinnati. “The recent recipients are a good reflection of our great business climate, spanning from start-ups to a 23-year-old company with long-time success in the Cincinnati region.”
Below is the list of three companies receiving JobsOhio Small Business Grants:
- Gotara (Cincinnati) – A woman-owned business that offers a business acumen and leadership platform to upskill talent in STEM+ fields addressing gender gap and management gap.
- Remote Vans (St. Bernard) – Creates state-of-the-art, fully-loaded, Mercedes Sprinter van conversions and integrates superior technological solutions with uncompromising connectivity, power and comfort for those looking for ultimate vehicle for work and play.
- Automated Machine Systems (Woodlawn) – Founded in 2000, AMS increases the productivity of manufacturers by helping them design and implement factory automation systems.
REDI Cincinnati has closed 57 JobsOhio Small Business Grant projects since the program’s inception, resulting in 422 new jobs, $22.6 million in new payroll and $8.7 million in capital investment.
JJobsOhio Small Business Grantsupports businesses that are either serving distressed communities or have ownership from underrepresented-populations, such as minorities, women, veterans and people with disabilities.
