Rapidly growing freight brokerage firm announces regional growth
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – June 8, 2023 – National Logistics Service (NLS), an industry-leading freight brokerage provider located in Colerain Township, Ohio, announces it is expanding operations with the addition of 50 new jobs over the next three years. JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati are providing support for the project, which is projected to bring an additional $2.9M in payroll to the Cincinnati region.
“We would like to thank REDI Cincinnati and JobsOhio for assisting us through this process,” said National Logistic Service CEO Brandon Albright and vice president of sales Blake Niemeyer in a joint statement. “They were extremely helpful and easy to work with from start to finish. We would also like to thank our employees, without their commitment, hard work and dedication to our carriers, customers and company this would not be possible. NLS is always looking for hard-working, dedicated people who enjoy working in a team environment and want control over their own earning potential.”
As a third-party freight broker, NLS supports businesses across the continental United States and Canada through its straightforward approach to logistics and transportation, which are vital components in today’s global economy.
Evidenced by its recognition in four out of the last five years on the Cincinnati Business Courier’s list of finalists for the Fast 55 awards, which honors the 55 most rapidly growing companies in the Cincinnati region, NLS has been on a rapid-growth trajectory. In order to continue delivering customer value through its industry-leading personal service and meet growing customer demand, NLS is expanding operations through this growth and is adding positions in sales, front office, accounting, finance and human resources.
Support from JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati will assist NLS in onboarding and training the new employees.
“National Logistics Service is a young, rapidly growing Ohio company that is serving its customers throughout North America,” said J.P. Nauseef, JobsOhio president and CEO. “With this expansion, NLS will create 50 new jobs and more than double its workforce to meet growing demand, further strengthening Ohio’s reputation as a global logistics leader.”
“The Cincinnati region is a prime location for companies looking to grow and expand, and NLS not only fits the category of growing companies itself, but it is also capable of serving other expanding businesses,” said Kevin Donnelly, REDI Cincinnati’s vice president for project management. “As a logistics company based in Colerain Township, NLS is an important member of our robust logistics & distribution ecosystem, which features over 100,000 industry workers that serve 60% of the U.S. population residing within a day’s drive of the Cincinnati region. We are proud to support NLS as it expands here in the Cincinnati market and would like to extend our gratitude to Colerain Township for their continued partnership.”
