At REDI Cincinnati, our mission is to create jobs and attract investment to the Cincinnati region, ensuring inclusive growth for all.

Over the past four years, we have actively promoted programs that reflect our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Our efforts, in partnership with JobsOhio, have included 75 projects with $3,085,000 in total grant dollars awarded and with the following participation rates:

Minority-owned: 50%
Woman-owned: 40%
Veteran-owned: 5%

JobsOhio Small Business Grant

We remain committed to fostering a brighter, more inclusive future for Cincinnati. We collaborate with JobsOhio to promote diversity and inclusion which led to the creation of JobsOhio Small Business Grant.

JobsOhio Small Business Grant offers financial support for qualified projects in designated communities and for businesses owned by eligible populations. This program targets areas that benefit from smaller-scale investments and job creation and recognizes the unique challenges faced by businesses owned by these populations.

Grant decisions consider factors such as company location, ownership, job creation or retention, and fixed asset investment. The program is aimed at supporting small to medium-sized companies.

Since the program’s inception in 2020, we have achieved the following milestones:

514 new jobs
$30M new payroll
$11.5M capital investment

Emerge Manufacturing is a minority-owned and led company to help onshore personal protective equipment (PPE) manufacturing in the United States, with a particular focus on supporting the traditionally underserved Roselawn and Bond Hill neighborhoods of Cincinnati.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses– An initiative to help small businesses create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital, and business support services.

Black Founders Initiative– provides tailored support and resources to Black entrepreneurs to help them grow and scale their businesses.
